Arti Roots Ross, LMT, CYT, founder and director of OWLS, is a yoga and bodywork professional and an experiential educator. Arti has personally trained and mentored thousands of massage therapists, yoga and body-mind practitioners, and holistic educators. She is particularly passionate about supporting her students and clients in creating and integrating lifestyle changes that are at once realistic, transformational, and sustainable.
Arti has been offering transformational workshops in the health and wellness field since 1983. One of the early teachers of Kripalu Bodywork, an integrative approach to massage and healing arts based in the tradition of Kripalu Yoga, she served as dean of the Kripalu School of Massage at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, from 2005 to 2010.
A devoted yoga and meditation practitioner, Arti is also a graduate of Kripalu’s School of Ayurveda and incorporates this ancient Vedic tradition into all she offers, particularly into Sustainable Wellness and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultations.
She was the founder and director of Muddy Angel Healing Arts, a private healing and educational practice that has evolved into her new consulting company, Optimal Wellness Lifestyle Strategies. She lives in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.
